Description
The house "La Source" has a ground at the lake and a sunny terrace, closed by wooden doors [so save for little children]. Also you will find there a barbeque. At the entrance you will find a cosy living room with wood-stove, couch (2-pers.) and open kitchen on this same floor there is also a shower room with washing-stand and washingmachine and a separate toilet. On the first floor you will find two sleeping rooms one with a double bed and the other one with a double and a single bed. From here there is also a door to the terrace.Further more
The house is located with 2 other holiday-houses on a big, green property, on a small hill between 2 ponds. The property, La ferme de la Fontaine St Jean is build at the well wich supplied the vilage with water for more than 1000 years. People are saying that the well has got curative properties for the eyes. Nowadays the water streams in the two nearby lakes. One of the lakes [6000 m2] can only be used by the renters of the houses and the owners. The lake is 50 m. away from the house; acces to the water is easy as the road and the water front is wel maintained. There is a little boat wich the renters may use for fishing or to make a pleasure-trip.For the children there is a playground with a cottage, indian tent made of bambou, a swing and a big sand-box untherneath the hazel-nut trees. In the morning you can pick up at the bakery (500 meters) oven fresh baguettes, banets or croissants. Here you'll also find a good butcher/traitteur, a grocery, a wine-cellar with delicious wines and a café with terrace. Within a very short walk you'll find a cosy harbour with restaurant, terrace and childrens play-ground.
