La Lie is a characteristic free located house with annex on 1,5 ha land. The house is located in the Niévre, 5 km south from de little town decize and 2,5 km away from the river Loire.You enter the house by a carriage drive with a hedge of old trees, around the house there is a garden with big trees and pastureland. Beside the house there is a forest with a few fishlakes. There is a lot of privacy, the first neighbours are 500 meters away. The house has thick stone walls, partly plastered, little red roof-tiles and a beautifull red traditional tile floor. You enter the house by the kitchen here you'll find a big chimney with slab and cooker. From the kitchen you can go to the shower room (shower, washingstand and toilet), the sittingroom and a children's bedroom with bunkbed. Further more there is a diningroom on the groundfloor, by the stairs you come to a 2-persons room with a doublebed. The house is heated by electrique convectors and or by the fire place. Beside the house there are a wood shed, a barn, a annexe and a covered patio. Further more you will find on the property a volleyball field, a trampoline, a fire place and a orchard. The house is situated close to the Loire and the town Decize [2 km.] here you'll find a supermarker with bakery. A unique location with lots of privacy, silence and real darkness to enjoy the stars. A big garden, with trampoline and fireplace surrounds the house. Directly behind is a rural forest with lots of animals and [predatory] birds. The beautiful and quiet surroundings are perfect for cycling or walking. All along thgere are possibilties for fishing [the Loire, the canal, many lakes]. Further more there are many picturesque cities as Bourbon-Lancy, Decize, Autun, Nevers or Moulins and also villages that have magnificent historical buildings, castles, churches, museums, gardens, etc. Within a half hour traveling distance lies the city of Nevers with her famous cathedral and palaces. Also wine-lovers can be catered for as the famous wine regions Sancerre, Pouilly Fumé, Bourgogne and Saint Pourçain are within close range. Definitely worth a visit are Bribracte [a Gallic settlement], Apremont [one of the 100 most beautiful villages of France] and 'Fôret de Troncais'[the oldest oak forest in Europe].Inventory
